The Saint Croix Sailing School is firmly committed to providing access to all our programs for all kids regardless of their financial circumstances. There are two ways to apply for a scholarship:
- Youth Advantage
Families who live in Independent School District 834’s boundaries and 1) whose children qualify for free or reduced-fee lunch programs, or 2) who have experienced a recent financial hardship, likely qualify for a Youth Advantage scholarship. Serving students in grades K-12.
To register, first decide on a type of session you’d like to apply for: Opti Sailing, Opti Racing, Club 420 Sailing, Intermediate Club 420 Sailing,Club 420 Racing, or Spring & Fall HS Racing.
Next, go to Youth Advantage and apply for a scholarship. https://www.youthadvantage.org/scholarshipapplication When asked, indicate the course type you desire (class date is not required at this point). They will give you further instructions about registering once approved.
- Saint Croix Sailing School Scholarships
The school has a scholarship fund, supported in part by generous donors, which is available to any family in need of financial assistance. Scholarship grants can range from partial payment of class fees to full payment. If you would like to be considered for a scholarship grant please fill out the form below to start the process.
