  • Junior Sailing Instructor

    A Junior Instructor has at least one year of sailing experience with SCSS.  In this role, an individual works with Sailing Instructors to assist in shoreside and on-the-water drills.
    14+ years old w/valid work permit.

  • Lead Junior Sailing Instructor

    A lead Junior Instructor has at least one year of experience as a Junior Instructor with SCSS.  In this role, an individual will mentor novice and experienced Junior Instructors in becoming proficient in the role and developing leadership within the role.

  • Sailing Instructor

    A Sailing Instructor has at least one year of sailing experience with SCSS.  In this role, an individual works with Sailing Instructors to assist in shoreside and on-the-water drills. Work weeks are approximately 40 hours a week and may include some evening or weekend shifts to support sailing lessons for children, adults and special user groups along with possible racing events.
    16+ years old w/1+ years of sailing experience

Work weeks are approximately 40 hours a week and may include some evening or weekend shifts to support sailing lessons for children, adults and special user groups along with possible racing events.

  • Senior Lead Sailing Instructor

    A Senior Lead Sailing Instructor has at least three years of sailing experience with SCSS.  In this role, an individual works with the Lead Sailing Instructors and Sailing Instructors to assist in shoreside and on-the-water drills. Work weeks are approximately 40 hours a week and may include some evening or weekend shifts to support sailing lessons for children, adults and special user groups along with possible racing events.
    18+ years old w/3+ years of sailing experience

  • Sailing Program Assistant Director

    The Sailing Program Assistant Director assists the Sailing Program Director in overseeing the management, administrative and off/on water coaching and teaching responsibilities of a summer seasonal sailing program in Hudson, WI. Work weeks are approximately 30-40 hours a week during summer months, June – August, but may include periodic hours throughout the off season in assisting the Sailing Program Director in assigned tasks. In season, position may include some evening or weekend shifts to support sailing lessons for children, adults and special user groups along with possible racing events. Salary will be based upon experience and qualifications.

  • Sailing Program Director

    The Sailing Program Director oversees the management, administrative and off/on water coaching and teaching responsibilities of a summer seasonal sailing program in Hudson, WI. Work weeks are approximately 5-10 hours in off season and 30-40 hours a week during summer months, June – August. Position may include some evening or weekend shifts to support sailing lessons for children, adults and special user groups along with possible racing events. Salary will be based upon experience and qualifications.

    Are you a skilled sailor who enjoys sharing our love of sailing with folks new to sailing?  We’d love to have you join our team!
    All instructors must be or become ASA certified and follow ASA curriculum.

  • Volunteers

    Skilled volunteers are always needed!  Our volunteers are the backbone of the Saint Croix Sailing School, and we exist because of the efforts of dozens of volunteers every year.  Your support is appreciated!
