We will be hosting our 3rd annual River Run Regatta on Friday, July 8th! Join in as a volunteer or just come out to watch. It’s a fun time for everyone!

Jackson Brown, a student of SCSS, took on some projects at the school to earn the distinguished award of Eagle Scout. He facilitated a crew of adults and troop members as well as put a lot of his own time and effort into turning a grungy, junk-filled shed into a storage and changing building for students. He also built a boat rail for additional 420 sailboat storage. We appreciate all of your hard work and dedication!

Adult Lessons

Learn to Crew – for Adults

The St. Croix Sailing Club (separate from the St. Croix Sailing School) has an active sailboat racing program. The club offers a class for adults who would like to learn how to be a crew member on these sailboats. No experience is necessary. Each spring a four-day class offers participants both in-class and on-the-water instruction. The class is scheduled for May 21-22 and June 4-5, 2011 from 9-4:00. The class includes lunches and an instructional handbook. The non-refundable fee of $210 includes a full membership ($110 value) in the St. Croix Sailing Club.
